Elise brings a background in health policy, lobbying and work in both local and federal politics in support of clients' public affairs, policy and communications objectives. Prior to joining Reservoir, she worked as a Policy and Federal Affairs Specialist at Children’s Hospital Association, working with allied coalitions, federal agencies, and legislators to ensure that children have access to affordable, high quality health care. Her portfolio included the 340B drug pricing program, Tricare, telehealth, and maternal health. Elise also spent time on Capitol Hill where she served as a Staff Assistant for the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.

Elise has a B.A. in sociology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she worked as a published student researcher in the Harm Reduction Journal. She also acted as a student liaison for a local councilman, where she gained experience in grassroots advocacy.
