This is the inaugural issue of The Reservoir Post.

In coming issues, this blog will feature insights from the Reservoir team and our partners. This first post is dedicated simply to introducing Reservoir and our mission.

I founded Reservoir Communications Group because I believe that corporate communications are often too fragmented and that clients would benefit from being able to see their brand, their reputation, and their approach to advocacy as part of an integrated whole.

Embedded in the DNA of Reservoir is the belief that the way organizations are seen to interact with civil society is one of the most important determinants of their reputation.  We also believe that the ability of an organization to successfully advocate is linked directly to its ability to productively engage its full range of stakeholders. Reputation is far more than an intangible idea—it is the essential currency of the organization with its stakeholders and a key determinant of business success.

The Reservoir team is made up of people who have been at the forefront of communications, policy, advocacy, and alliance development. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to engage with clients, solve problems, and conquer challenges in ways previously undreamt.

Our mission is simple: to do the things better than they have ever been done before.

We’re excited to begin this journey and look forward to working with you!

Best Regards,
Robert
