Emily Turek

Emily supports a range of clients with in-depth policy knowledge and skills stemming from her background in federal and stakeholder relations, policy design and solutions, and health communications. Through her career Emily has leveraged her experience to support clients in finding key solutions, designing innovative efforts, and communicating complex issues to address pertinent public health policy issues ranging from healthcare infrastructure modernization and workforce management to rural and tribal health access and logistics. 

Prior to joining Reservoir, Emily held a government affairs and policy role with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and aligned Nursing Community Coalition. Through this role Emily consulted with Congress, the White House, and federal administration agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Education, on delivery of national health care and public policy strategy through provision of research, federal comments and press documents, and national campaigns on COVID-19 and Public Health Safety.

Emily also formerly served as a United States Senate Staffer, supporting professional communications, logistics, and policy assistance. Additionally, she has held undergraduate policy and federal relations roles at lobbying firm Cornerstone Government Affairs, the Iowa State Legislature, and the Navajo Nation Washington Office. 

Emily has a B.A. in Public Policy with an emphasis on Economic Systems and Public Relations from Drake University in Iowa.
