OUR TEAM

Leila Pagel

Associate

Leila Pagel comes to Reservoir with a background in immunobiology, public health, and health equity. Drawing on scientific research and communications experience, she is passionate about translating complex health issues into accessible, evidence-based narratives that advance equitable health outcomes.

Prior to joining Reservoir full-time, Leila interned with the firm, supporting client initiatives including vaccine education, stakeholder engagement, and community health partnerships. Before Reservoir, she served as a communications and public policy intern at the National Hispanic Health Foundation, where she supported advocacy and awareness initiatives focused on health disparities and access to care. Her interest in health policy is grounded in more than three years of immunology research on a parasitic disease that disproportionately affects underserved communities, shaping her perspective on the intersection of science, public health, and access to care.

Leila graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Biology and Justice & Peace Studies, and a minor in Spanish.
