Ruby Markham brings a strong background in both domestic and international policy and public affairs to Reservoir. She leverages her years of strategic communication experience to translate complex challenges into clear, actionable insights, helping stakeholders navigate regulatory and advocacy landscapes. Ruby’s expertise lies in effectively communicating intricate health policy issues to drive informed decision-making and engagement.  

Prior to joining Reservoir, Ruby worked at the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), a trade association focused on commercial diplomacy. There, she collaborated with Fortune 500 companies to advance policy advocacy and market access initiatives, addressing key issues related to trade, supply chains, and resource optimization. She played a pivotal role in expanding BCIU’s sectoral work, shaping programming around agriculture, climate, and technological innovation.  

Ruby’s international perspective is shaped by her time living in Germany and Spain. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Economics from George Washington University.
