Tom serves as a Senior Advisor to Reservoir Communications Group, where he advises biopharma executives, industry partners, boards and investors on market access strategy, payer engagement, and commercialization of innovative therapies. He brings more than 40 years of industry experience helping organizations understand and navigate complex reimbursement and access landscapes. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ASHP Foundation. He leads teams that develop market access strategies for launched and pipeline portfolios. He provides leadership for payer and channel strategy across PBMs, health plans, health systems, and pharmacy partners, along with patient support services, field reimbursement, contracting strategy, and operations. His deep commercial experience also spans Medicare, global value and access, M&A integration, product marketing, new product commercialization, managed care marketing, and field sales. He previously served as Vice President, Market Access at Neurocrine Biosciences, and was Vice President of Value and Access for U.S. General Medicine at Amgen. He began his career at Marion Laboratories and held key commercial leadership roles at Aventis Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Science Program in Healthcare Decision Analysis at the USC School of Pharmacy, has guest lectured at the Rutgers MBA Program and has been a speaker at managed care and industry conferences on the US healthcare landscape, the pharmaceutical industry and market access strategy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Kansas.
